Overview
The Aluminum Door Fabricator is responsible for machining of aluminum stiles, rails and tracks, glazing and assembling and packing the aluminum doors for various doors types and styles.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operates aluminum fabrication equipment, including saws, drill punches and hand tools.
2. Cuts custom stiles, rails, and tracks for the day’s orders.
3. Operates drilling machines to make holes and notches in aluminum as per order.
4. Visually inspects aluminum to ensure quality and to reduce scrap.
5. Reads tape measure and understands gauges to ensure minimization of wasted product.
6. Completes paper work associated with scrap, quality audits, etc.
7. Provides general housekeeping, as necessary.
8. Counts and wraps door panels as needed.
9. Any other related duties that may be requested from time to time by the Doorline Operations Supervisor or Plant Manager.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
