Advanced Motion & Controls Ltd. is seeking an experienced assembler to join our manufacturing team at our headquarters in Barrie.
Job Summary:
An Aluminum Framing Fabricator is responsible for the preparation and assembly of aluminum framing, guarding, and mechanical products. Guidance and training will
be provided by the Manufacturing Supervisor.
Your role will include:
· Accurately cut and assemble Bosch Rexroth aluminum extrusion products.
· Drill and tap aluminum extrusions.
· Cut sheet goods on table saw.
· Cut steel rails on wet saw.
· Interpret and apply dimensions and details from blueprints and CAD drawings to finished machine guarding and framing products.
· Provide initial Quality Assurance of product components at the “scratch & dent” level.
· Perform under direct supervision tooling and maintenance and machine set-up on specified shop equipment.
Qualifications required:
· Completion of secondary school or equivalency
· Experience in a related occupation or as a warehouse worker
· Proactive problem solver, capable of identifying issues and generating solutions
· Basic computer skills
· Knowledge of hand and power tools.
· Oral communication / working with others
· Valid Drivers License an asset
