Overview
We are seeking an Aluminum Tig and Mig at our Brampton location to become an integral part of our team that is motivated, talented, and hard-working! The Welder will be able to read Blueprints and use specialized equipment to weld and assemble Metal Railings.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
· Hold valid Weld certificate in GTAW
- Weld Aluminum and Steel /Stainless
- Read manufacturing drawings/prints
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Follow drawings to meet product specifications
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Complete accurate cutting of materials
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
- Be apart of production and design meetings if required
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience as a Welder preferred
- Experience in MIG and TIG welding
- Ability to weld aluminum a MUST
- Ability to read and understand blueprints Must
- Willing to work overtime as required
- Must own reliable transportation and hold a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
We are presently on the hunt for some motivated, talented, and hard-working individuals for the role of Aluminum TIG/MIG Welder
Job Duties
- Weld up Aluminum and stainless steel Metal railing
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse Aluminum segments using MIG pulse welding technology
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Operate manual and electric hand tools
- Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
- Support repairs and install teams as required
Work Conditions
- Physical ability to lift to 50lbs
- Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
- Extremely busy environment – must be able to work with little supervision
- Must be able to stay focused on the task at hand
- Hazards associated with the trade

Salary: $26.00-$31.00 per hour
