Overview
We work primarily on aluminum recreational boats. We can weld repairs or custom fabricate aluminum parts for boats. We do not prefabricate parts. We build everything in house per customer request. This is a small local boat shop in lafayette servicing all of Acadiana. We are looking for someone who would like to work long-term to help us with the growth of the business. Day to day tasks are never the same. We weld aluminum, stainless and mild steel. 90% of our projects are related to the marine industry, but we also take on other welding projects. We do anything from repair cracked bow eyes, to custom fabricate boat T-Tops, Center consoles, repair boat trailers, install boat lights, boat audio and more. No two days are alike. Other duties can include, keeping the shop clean, cutting grass, answering phones and waiting on customers. This position will work alongside the owner until training is complete and then transition into a more independent role.

Pay: $14.00 – $22.00 per hour
