Overview

Welding of manufacture truss/tower systems. Mainly Aluminum MIG, occasional Steel also. Other tasks are involved including sawing, drilling, bending and using electric hand tools for grinding and finishing.

  • Should have good communication skills, to be able to take verbal instructions, and make reports.
  • ability to read and use tape measure to nearest 1/16 of an inch
  • Should be comfortable working on feet and with full range of movement in arms and legs.
  • should have focus on doing accurate and excellent work, with focus and follow through on finish details.

Experience needed

  • 2 years in similar jobs or vocational training (metal shop, etc.)

Education needed:

Helpful:

  • listening and following instructions
  • ask questions when unsure
  • willing to learn new skills and adopt procedures

Pay will increase as worker gains skills and learns tasks; first pay increase after initial training at 30 days.
