Overview
Note:
- Knowledgeable in laying out and assembling curtain walls, storefronts, windows and doors are preferred. Wage is based on experience.
- Wages are competitive, medical and dental offered after the probation period.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Performing the physical tasks to cut and prep parts, layout, fabricate, assemble, and caulk aluminum curtainwalls, storefronts, windows, doors, etc
- Measure, cut, and drill aluminum profiles
- Operate machines and tools as needed
- Inspect aluminum for various quality flaws
- Assist with loading and offloading
- Deliver products to job sites as needed
- Perform other duties as required
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work with measuring tools, power tools, screw guns, drills, cutting machines and fabrication tools
- Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs consistently during the working hours
- To be able to read shop, production, and fabrication drawings
- To be able to read metric and imperial tape measures
- Must be safety conscious and hardworking
- Must be detail, safety, and quality-oriented
- Basic computer knowledge
Assets:
- Experience in a window and door manufacturing environment
- Familiar with and ability to work with CNC machines
- Team player with a proactive attitude and approach
Visa Requirements:
- The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada. We are unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization for this position.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
