Specialty Glazing Systems is an Edmonton based company involved in commercial glazing systems. Curtainwall, storefront, skylights and many interior systems such as balustrade and all glass doors.
Job description
Looking for apprentices and experienced Journeyman glaziers as well as fabricators.
Should be well organized, reliable and have good communication skills. Must be available for in town and out of town work. Must be able to assist with or lead installation of aluminum framing and glass. Repairs and installation of aluminum and all glass doors systems. Installation of mirrors, balustrade glass and exterior and interior finishes such as flashings, claddings and pressure plate and finished cap. Fabrication experience an asset.
Can assist with daily/weekly work flow plans on site. Communicate with project management and construction managers when required.
Able to assist with maintaining schedules and problem solve issues that may affect work flow.
Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all seasons.
Should be safety oriented.
