Apprentice or Journeyman Welder – Day Shift

ProAll International Manufacturing Ltd., located in Olds, AB, is seeking apprentice or journeyman welders. We are growing and this is an excellent opportunity to join a positive team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

· Current welding apprentice or journeyman certified welder

· Experience in MIG processes and working with mild steel

· Intermediate blueprint reading skills

· Self-motivated and can work well under limited supervision

· Time management and organizational skills

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

· Team oriented positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Leadership and coaching skills are considered an asset

· Problem solving skills and strong work ethic

· Able to work safely in a fast-paced environment

· Think and react to changing conditions as needed

· Flexible to accommodate varying shift times, if necessary

· Physically fit

Responsibilities:

· Work in a manufacturing setting in a clean and well equipped welding shop

· Use MIG welding processes, GTAW and SMAW are an asset, but not necessary

· Follow work orders and weld assemblies to specifications

· Interpret workorders, drawings and complete all documentation accurately

· Ensure quality work is done in a timely and efficient manner

· Follow up with supervisors to communicate status of equipment being worked on

· Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work related processes

· Perform daily safety and maintenance checks

· Follow all safety policies and maintain integrity
