Position Summary:

STRAIT is currently recruiting Apprentice Pipefitters / Pipefitter Helpers for Facility work throughout Western Canada.


Qualifications:

  • Indentured Apprenticeship
  • Fall Arrest
  • Standard First Aid
  • H2S Alive
  • PCTS or CSTS
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods
  • WHMIS


Required Skills:

  • Previous Oilfield Facility experience
  • Read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures
  • Build in accordance to company supplied fabrication drawings
  • Red-line update drawings to as-built conditions
  • Use and knowledge or testing procedures, protocols and testing equipment
  • Ordering and receiving of materials required for fabrication
  • Willing to travel to fabrication yard or site
  • Maintain all tools, and work are in a clean and orderly fashion
