Tu Casa Group is a locally owned oilfield service company in Grande Prairie, AB. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and reliable Apprentice Pipefitter to join our team immediately! We have a friendly and fast paced work environment and offer a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees after a 3-month probationary period.
Requirements:
No living out allowance; not a camp job, must have own living accommodations.
Enrolled in Apprenticeship Pipefitter program
All safety tickets as required
Must be flexible – work days are both on a scheduled and emergency call-out basis
Must be punctual and reliable
Criminal record check
Clean driver’s abstract
Job description includes but is not limited to: Maintaining equipment in accordance with Tu Casa and manufacturer rules; follow the safety program including all policies, procedures and practices; complete tickets, logbooks, pre-trips, hazards, etc.; provide copies/pictures of training certificates; report to operations daily and notify them of any incidents or occurrences; keep work area clean, tidy and free of any hazards; assist coworkers as required; make sure tools, trucks and equipment are in good shape and not a hazard; maintain safety tickets as required; ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision; excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); must show professionalism and respect towards peers, customers and management; must be able to read and understand P&ID’s, piping and mechanical drawings; strong attention to detail; must take direction well from Journeyman Pipefitters.
