Is a Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada, based multi-discipline industrial fabrication and construction company that has been serving the industrial plant community since 1980. Our expertise covers a broad range of industries, which include Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Cement, Mining, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Heavy Industrial, Light Industrial, and Power Generation.

Shift: Various

Job Description:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of various piping systems by measuring, cutting, threading, grinding, valves, and fittings.
  • Understands industry drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine scope of work.
  • Install pipes, valves, and fittings according to drawings and project plans and conduct pressure tests as required by code and or specifications
  • Good knowledge of materials and equipment to determine the best tool for the job.
  • Using hand or power tools or machines.
  • Identify piping materials by grade and or description.
  • Good understanding of rigging and hoisting techniques and signals, this includes knowledge of both crane and hand rigging techniques.
  • Knowledge of Lockout/Tag out
  • Previous experience in Live Plants and shutdown/turnaround environment is considered an asset

Job Requirements:

  • 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Pipefitter
  • Online Orientation
  • Pre-access D&A testing required.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Capable of working with small tools
  • Capable of working as part of a team
  • Fluent in speaking and reading English
  • Must be able to follow directions

  • H2S Alive
  • CSTS-09
  • Fall Protection
  • WHIMIS 2015
  • EWP / AWP – Preferred
  • Zoom-boom / Forklift – Preferred
  • Site specific training *as required*
