Roles and Responsibilities
- Displays a commitment to Academy’s safety program, values, and culture
- Familiar with safe work practices
- Layout and mark piping for cutting
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame cutting equipment
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- May be required to operate a skid steer
Requirements
Education
- Active apprenticeship registered with AIT for welding or pipefitting (must have Bluebook)
Qualifications
- 1-year experience working in a fabrication shop
- English Language Fluency is required
- Experience with operating a skid steer
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Skills
- The ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels
- High attention to detail
- Ability to lift a minimum 50lbs, be physically fit
