Apprentice Welders 1st & 2nd Year – Structural

Position Summary:
STRAIT is currently recruiting Indentured First and Second Year Apprentice Structural Welders for shop work in Grande Prairie, AB.

Qualifications:
Indentured Apprenticeship

CWB FCAW – All Position

First Aid

H2S Alive

Common Safety Orientation

PCTS or CSTS

Required Skills:
Previous structural welding experience

Read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures

Build in accordance to company supplied fabrication drawings

Red-line update drawings to as-built conditions

Use and knowledge of testing procedures, protocols and testing equipment

Maintain all tools, and work area in a clean and orderly fashion
