Overview

Applicants for Assembler/Welder AZ/DZ driver should have a minimum of two (2) years demonstrated hands-on experience concerning the operation of heavy trucks and must have a current AZ license. In addition, candidates should have a comprehensive knowledge and ability at reading blueprints. This role has the job knowledge and skills to work in every station proficiently on an assembly line with the ability to troubleshoot various components of a machine.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assemble, install, troubleshoot, and repair various parts and assemblies many hydraulic and pneumatic as well as electrical as part of the process of building the finished product

2. Ability to read a drawing to measure and cut/drill fix various brackets parts and assemblies into place

3. Maintaining accurate records in each station of work completed

4. Visually inspect and test components and equipment at each stage or station during the assembly process

5. Work collaboratively with other assemblers in the team to complete builds on time and to the expected standard

6. Always follow safe practices and policies and use the PPE provided

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. At least 1 year of experience in a plant environment, able to pull up to 30lbs rolling load and push up to 45 lbs.

2. Valid AZ/DZ license

3. Able to work with welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, and heavy plan equipment is necessary

4. Solid communication skills: ability to listen, and respond appropriately able to articulate technical issues clearly

5. Able to prioritize work and complete tasks as required

6. Able to work well independently and as a team member

7. Natural problem-solving skills

8. Electrical and Electro-Mechanical aptitude

9. Ability to work overtime as required

10. A demonstrated commitment to safe practices, following health and safety guidelines

Pay: $24.53-$26.51 per hour
