Summary of Position
We are seeking one Assembly Technician & Plastics Welder that has a high level of mechanical aptitude. You are hands on and enjoy making, building and repairing. The primary responsibilities will be plastics welding, fabrication, plumbing, and assembly. You have demonstrated success in manufacturing operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assembly of products with high attention to detail and quality
Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete mechanical assembly
Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment
Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for realizing continuous improvement to products and processes.
Ability to read diagram layouts and follow instructions.
Able to precisely measure.
Experience with hand tools and testing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability troubleshoot and ask questions when needed
Excellent hand dexterity
Basic math skills
Able to deliver quality work in a timely manner.
Candidate Prerequisites
2+ years of experience in manufacturing
Desire to learn new skills and grow experience.
Good attitude and able to take initiative
Must be able to pass a drug and background screen
