Essential Job Functions

Quest is seeking automation implementation support for a new welding system install. This can be provided either locally onsite at the customer’s location, or partially remote! If remote support, then there will be travel involved to customer location..

Assist in Automation implementation of Girth Welding System Including Design, Manufacture, Assembly, Testing, delivery, installation, and commissioning of equipment

Drive improvements in the following areas- Capacity, Yield, Efficiency and enable NADACAP accreditation

Qualifications

Certification in GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding

Previous experience with Girth System preferred

Project management experience

3-5 years of related automation experience

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM

Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.

Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
