Transporter Werks is a professional VW Vanagon Restoration shop, that opened in 1995.We are an established and growing business, looking for individuals to join our team. We are looking for the right candidate; honest, motivated, career oriented, and not scared to work. We are looking for hardworking employees to grow with the business. Job tasks can change from day to day, so ability to multi-task is a must. We would prefer a like minded person who has a passion for VW’s and Porches, but are open to all applicants that have a passion for cars in general. We ask that you have tools for the trade and some past mechanic experience. Please have references and resume available so we can review.

  • VW Vanagon Subaru engine conversions
  • Rust repair and metal restoration
  • Reassembly
  • Custom fabrication
  • AC restoration
  • Routine and general maintenance
  • Pipe bending, bumper, and tire rack fabrication etc.
  • Current projects we are working on.
  • Several Vanagon Subaru conversions and various Vanagon restorations
  • 1960 23 VW Bus
  • 1967 21 Window Bus minor restoration.
  • Vanagon Syncro SVX restoration and much more

Job Requirements:

  • VERIFIABLE WORK EXPERIENCE AND REFERENCES
  • Service exp. such as Brake systems, Transmissions and Carb Tuning
  • Engine Rebuild/Assembly experience
  • Must work well with others as a team
  • Must be Reliable
  • Must be flexible with duties due to fluctuations in work needed
  • Keep an open mind while working on these vehicles

We would also prefer (but not required):

  • Someone with minor bodywork experience
  • Restoration/Fabrication skills/Welding
  • Assembly of parts and vehicles
