Auxiliary Welding Instructor
On Call/As required
Duties: Auxiliary Welder program instructor is required to provide instruction on an on-call or as needed basis for all of the Welder programs offered which include Levels 1 to 3, Modular B.
Qualifications: Red Seal Journeyperson Welder with a minimum of five years of experience working in the welding industry as well as PWP #7and PWP #10 pressure tickets. Current experience with procedures in the Modular B and Level 3 curriculum is also required. In addition, knowledge of practical performances in OFC, OAW, SMAW, PAC, CAC-1, FCAW GTAW, and GMAW processes is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have a CWB Welding Inspector Certification as well as a MPAW or Modular A training. Previous teaching experience with adults and experience working with apprentices are strong assets.

Salary: As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for auxiliary employees is in a range from $38.59 – $51.88 per hour (this includes 14% in lieu of benefits and vacation).
