Market Rate Adder Incentive of $46.50 per day in affect until July 31st, 2022 on top of base hourly rate for all B-Pressure Hand Welder positions at Suncor Firebag!
Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Develop patterns for projects or follow directions given in layouts, blueprints and work orders.
Clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch.
Weld parts together.
Requirements:
All journeymen must have Alberta and/or Red Seal Trade certificate.
Alberta B Pressure ticket or equivalent if from another province.

Welding Tickets: (Hand Welder) (must be current and within 6 mths f)
