Alstar is currently looking for B-Pressure Rig Welders for our Spooling department.
Job Summary:
Welding and Fitting of piping components
Read, understand and follow all Safe Work Practices and Procedures for machinery and equipment
Must be able to work in a team environment
Follow existing work standards and look for further improvements
Safety, Quality and Production
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Certified Journeyman along with Alberta B-Pressure certificate
Read and interpret blueprints, cut lists, and weld symbols
Provide rollers,stands and tools to complete fabrication tasks
CSTS-09/20, or CSO
STT/RMD, Metalcore and Tig experience would be an asset
Rig welder experience is a minimum requirement
Working Conditions:
You will work in a large manufacturing facility with other trades present
Primarily inside work, outside work may be required
