INCENTIVE AND RETENTION ALERT!
Temporary incentive and retention program effective until July 1st, 2022:
The Incentive Program consists of an additional $60/day for this position – paid weekly. To receive incentive, “days worked” will be defined as minimum 4 hrs of work on site.
The Retention Program offers an additional $20/day, paid by July 1st, 2022 (or following corresponding pay period), or upon release by the employer (end of project).
TRAVEL ALLOWANCE!
Offered for the May 2022 turnaround across all provinces.
Mobilization payment will be paid on first paycheck and Demobilization will be paid on the last paycheck (does not apply to those who quit, job abandon or terminated with cause).

Heartland Constructors Inc. is looking for B-Pressure Welders with Rig to join the Kearl Team for a Turnaround starting in May 2022. The event duration is approximately 30 days.
Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment.
Responsibilities
Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when material is available, some welds may be customized while others may be repetitive procedures to complete the work.
Use welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, or SAW to weld pressure piping.
Follows various company policies and procedures such as:
ISO 9001-2008
Adhere to company Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
Adhere to Client Specific WPS
Adhere to company Safety Program
Minimum Requirements
Certified Welder Journeyperson
Alberta B Pressure ticket or equivalent if from another province.
CSTS 09 or 2020
Standard First Aid (Level A or C)
Fall Protection
Confined Space & Monitor
Welding tickets and/or welder performance qualification testing required – as per Site’s Performance Qualification testing of welder’s guideline
COVID Requirements:
Anyone accessing the IOL Kearl Site will require full vaccination (full course plus 14 days).
