Hours of Work: 10 Hours per day
Accommodations: Provided plus an additional $70.00 per day
Travel: Paid travel time from Lethbridge/Calgary area

Position Summary
We are seeking Journeymen B-Pressure Welders with Oil & Gas Industrial experience to support upcoming projects. The successful candidate will report to the site Foreman & General Foremen.
Our Ideal Candidate
· Journeyman B-Pressure Welder
· 5+ years or more experience.
· Previous oil and gas/construction industry experience.
· Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
· Self-starter requiring minimal supervision with the ability to multitask and define properties.
· Strong communicator: able to understand instructions and communicate effectively.
· Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards.

· H2S
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding procedure specifications.
- Use different welding processes and fillers depending upon the type of metal, its size and shape, and requirements for finished product strength weld parts together.
- Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.
- Clean, check for defects and shape component parts. Sometimes using a cutting torch.
- Participate as a team member, and contribute towards the success of the organization, which may involve the provision of other technical and administrative support, as required.
- Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.
