Overview
Our customer, a major oil and gas solutions company is looking for B Pressure Welders to join their busy team at their South East Calgary shop location. The successful candidates will be required to read and interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes, ensure all welding equipment is clean and functional, participating in, accepting and adopting the safety principles
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Hold a valid B Pressure Welder Certificate and must pass a shop “B” Pressure weld test
- Commitment to promoting and being a part of a safe work environment
- Experience in vessel or process pipe, preferably with natural gas compressor packages
- Experience working on new and used piping systems
- This position may be required to direct, coach and mentor Junior B Welders
- Ability to work overtime or shift work
- Results oriented and a team player
