General Skills/Qualities Needed to Succeed:

-Prior experience with industrial sewing (banners, billboards, canvas, vinyl, fabric, tarps and other materials);

-Double-stich industrial sewing machine – chain stich and lockset and 3 thread serger

· Needle feed lockstitch- double needle

· Walking foot lockstitch – double needle

· Chain stitch with puller – double needle

· 3 thread serger

-An attention to detail and pride in work;

-A willingness to learn and to ask questions;

-A great personality; and

-Comfortable with written and verbal English

What Will I be Doing on the Job?

This job will provide a great deal of training and candidates are expected to do the following:

-Reading and understanding customer order forms (we will train);

-Measuring and marking materials on our finishing floor;

-Cutting/trimming of materials on our finishing floor and occasionally tables;

-RF welding/vinyl seaming;

-Pushing, pulling, lifting, folding and packing banners and billboards (up to 50lbs regularly);

-Loading and unloading large rolls to and from trucks; and

-Sweeping or mopping the impeccable floor, cleaning and disposing of off-cuts of material, organizing tools

Preferred Candidates:

-Able to work the hours necessary to complete projects by the deadline (this may occasionally require working additional hours or weekend work, but we try our best to avoid this);

-Physically fit and able to handle heavy work pieces;

-Comfortable working at floor level (bending, kneeling) as many pieces are too large for tables; and

-Has some banner and billboard experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
