Overview
Responsibilities
· Perform tooling change-over using lock out/tag procedures
· Perform manual tooling adjustments throughout each shift
· Communicate effectively and work together with alternate shifts.
· Ensure ISO procedures such as proper documentation is performed.
· Train other employees
· Responsible to work in an open and sharing manner so that all employees can share the knowledge of production procedures.
· Work with production supervisors to coordinate production startups, shutdowns and changeovers
· Responsible to assist quality control and quarantine incorrect materials.
· Responsible for requesting materials needed to perform your duties.
· Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
· Compliance with all Mechtron Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
· Compliance with all Mechtron Quality System Policies and Procedures
· Other duties as assigned
Abilities
- Must have strong technical/mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to read and interpret sketches and blue prints.
- Must have knowledge of ODS and/or SPC recording
- Able to multitask in a high pace environment
- Good hand/ eye coordination
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
