Bent Bar Mold Maker Fabricator Job Description

Summary of the position

The Bent Bar Mold Maker Fabricator is expected to know how to build a mold based on the customer’s order specifications. The mold will be built based on the drawing and material specifications provided by the MST Rebar engineering department. After the mold is completed, they will assist the fabricators in the fabrication process.

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience with fiberglass production
  • Team player who works well with team members
  • Experience with woodworking and the ability to build from an engineered drawing
  • Skilled in the use of a table saw, drill and other hand tools
  • Well organized with a sense of urgency

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Follow the process as outlined by the head of fabrication
  • Follows the rules and procedures set out by MST Rebar
  • Any other duties as directed by the head of fabrication

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to stand and walk between the mold making and fabrication area
  • Must be able to kneel, stoop, squat and to stretch to fulfill tasks
  • Requires grasping, pulling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, hearing ability and visual acuity

Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
