Defined Designs is seeking a skilled fabricator/builder, with a highly-trained eye for quality, to join our custom fabrication team. In this position, you’ll be exposed to the some of the most exciting brands and companies from around the globe. You will use your advanced methods for fabrication and be able to help support our company’s vision of delivering assets of the highest quality to our customers and clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Quality Check measurements and dimensions of each piece that’s being worked on with rulers, measuring tapes or squares
  • Review drawings and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completion
  • Able to foresee and flag concerns through the build of a project as they may affect the following steps and procedure
  • Confidently handle power tools, such as table saws, drills, jig saws, skill saws, and routers to cut, form and adjust materials
  • Review provided renderings or drawings and suggest/recommend alternative build techniques that could improve efficiency and quality of product
  • Make templates for common work tasks when conducting repetitive motions for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work quality

Required:

  • High school diploma or a GED equivalent
  • At least three years of experience in fabrication, building or cabinetmaking
  • Ability to comprehend blueprints and work specifications
  • Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Problem solving skills
  • Able to work independently and/or with a team
  • Understanding of construction tasks and industrial processes
  • Excellent color vision and hand dexterity

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
