Crestline Coach Ltd. is currently looking for a Bus Remount Technician.
Permanent Dayshift position as a Bus Remount Technician.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 5:30pm
We are looking for a Production Assembler who is mechanically inclined and has tool experience.
As a Bus Remount Technician you will:
Use build documents to install all mechanical components requested – i.e. Heater systems, fuel fired auxiliary heaters, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, running boards, rub rails etc.
Use build documents to install all electrical components requested – i.e. camera systems, stereos, computer aided dispatch systems, traffic priority systems, 2 way radios and antennas etc.
Function test all added components
Use build documents to remount customer used ambulance boxes from old chassis onto new chassis
Use build documents to upgrade electrical systems
Use build documents to upgrade mechanical systems
Function test all added components
Fabricate required brackets and covers for use in buses and remounts using build documents
Perform a general quality control check to ensure all specifications and quality standards are met
As a Bus Remount Technician you will have:

Experience and ability to use hand tools and power tools
Knowledge of 12 volt electrical systems and test equipment
Basic steel MIG welding experience is an asset
Ability to read and understand drawings
Ability to interpret work orders
Ability to read and understand a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance
Understand the production process in terms of quality and quantity
Understand quality measurements to adhere to ISO requirements
As a Bus Remount Technician you will be able to:
Stand for more than 8 hours in a shift
Climb a ladder and stairs multiple times per shift
Kneel, crouch and crawl for extended periods of time
Carry, push, pull and lift up to 50lbs
Reach forward and overhead at or beyond a full arm’s length for an extended period of time
