Job description

As a Certified Pipe Fabricator/Welder your position required you to weld the necessary component parts of a piping fabrication that supports the organization’s production goals and objectives while meeting and/or exceeding customer expectations.

Essential Duties:

  • Serve as welding setup and assembler/fabricator
  • Read and/or interpret drawings/specifications
  • Cut, form and weld mild steel material to specification
  • Ability to use various clamping tools, fixtures and devices
  • Consistently demonstrate understanding of core welding technologies/principles in theory and Application
  • Interface with various levels in the organization and share information as required
  • Comply with all regulatory welding, and quality requirements
  • Follow all company policies, procedures and safety rules
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a certified welder
  • Ability to use table lifters and other lifting equipment
  • Ability to build complex assemblies
  • Experience with welding large and small weldments
  • Experience welding in multiple positions
  • Works well with deadlines
  • Ability to drive forklift
  • Ability to use welding equipment/tools proficiently such as: MIG welder, TIG welder, stick welder, grinder, soldering tools, cutting tools, etc.

Work Environment:

  • 100% manufacturing environment
  • Ability to walk, stand, crouch, bend, kneel, lift, carry, reach as needed in large and tight spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. above head and work over head
  • Ability to team lift up to 100 lbs. over head

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
