Certified II (ABS): Must hold ABS Welding Certification
Welds at Welder II level but holds company welding certification for inspected vessel hot work.
Employee passes a certified welding test in all three positions; horizontal, vertical and overhead in addition to meeting all of the criteria for Welder I Follow all safety rules and make safety contact Expected to weld in any position with electrodes (stick) and wire (mig) Capable of performing basic maintenance on the wire feeders (i.e.; changing wire, tips, nozzles and freeing fouled wire) Responsible for maintaining his leads and ensuring that proper grounding techniques are being utilized Capable of performing air pressure testing on barge tanks and repairing leaks Follow all safety rules and make safety contacts Able to work with minimal supervision once assigned a task Other duties as assigned
