Overview

Qualifications:

  • Certified CWB Welding Supervisor is a MUST.
  • 5 years of industrial experience, with MIG welding and overhead crane operation
  • 3 years of progressive experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of general metal fabrication technical processes, equipment, and workflows.
  • Experience with welding symbols, diagrams, and reading blueprints.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with the set up and operation of welding machines.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Must be safety conscious and adhere to safety processes and policies.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

What you’ll work on:

As a Welding and Fitting Supervisor at Fracan, you will be responsible for monitoring workers on the proper techniques, details of materials, equipment, and fabrication techniques ensuring Welders obtain maximum productivity.

Shift:

We are actively hiring for both the Day and Night shifts.

  • Day Shift – Monday to Thursday – 4:00am to 2:30pm
  • Night Shift – Monday to Thursday – 2:30pm to 1:00am

Skills and experience in:

Fabrication, weld quality, welding manufacturing supervisor, welder/fitter supervisor, welding supervisor, GTAW, MIG, Stick, good dexterity, attention to detail, organizational skills.
