Job Title: Tandem Truck Driver / Welder
Job Duties:
- Tandem truck operation in and around the Edmonton area;
- Welding duties in our shop as needed;
- The work is related to our construction scopes;
- Must be willing to perform manual labour if required;
- Executing field projects according to instructions provided by dispatch;
- Work with minimal supervision and direction;
- Follow all traffic legislation and;
- Drive and operate according to the company’s safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of tandem truck driving experience;
- Welding experience;
- Maintain logbook as per legislation;
- Perform regular equipment maintenance and pre-trips;
- Neat and diligent in maintaining equipment / vehicles;
- CSTS 2020 training;
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s license;
- Clean 5-year commercial driver’s abstract;
- Ability to work long hours (10 – 12 hours per day);
- Commercial vehicle training;
- Strong work ethic;
- Safety conscious;
- Must be able to legally work in Canada.
