Overview

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience welding pressure vessels or heat exchanger components

· Extensive knowledge of welding with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW & SAW thermal processes in the manufacturing of various types of pressure vessels and heat exchangers

· Ability to pass a weld qualification for each process

· Ability to read prints for both required specifications as well as dimensions

· Ability to weld within the parameters of a WPS/PQR

· Ability to be proficient in arc gouging process

· Ability to be a self-motivated and highly productive employee who requires minimal supervision and who can efficiently execute a plan to make jobs happen on time within the hours given

· Ability to be a team player who can work well with others to achieve company goals

· Ability to consistently maintain less than a 5% X-Ray repair rate

· Ability to be efficient at fixing X-Ray and UT repairs

· Ability to recognize and rectify sub-standard welds to ensure product quality

· Ability to be punctual and dependent with a willingness to work hours outside of a standard schedule when required to achieve a task or complete a project

· Must be willing to step outside of welding role when a company need arises and perform basic tasks such as cylinder fit-ups or other minor tasks

· Ability to be a team player and be a company-oriented individual who takes pride in their work

· Must be a highly safety-oriented individual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $29.00 per hour
