NOC Job Title: Machinist
Optimil Machinery is a manufacturer of sawmill equipment and other related machinery. We have been in business for 35 years.
We manufacture a wide variety of steel and aluminum parts: large fabricated steel frames, bearing assemblies, rolls, guide plates, components for cylinders. We have our own product that we design, sell and manufacture. Our facility has a variety of different machine centers. We are looking to for people to operate the following machines: CNC horizontal boring mill, CNC lathe, burn table. We are also looking for Steel Fabricators.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Red Seal Machinist or Fabricator (or equivalent master Machinist)
- proven ability to run and manage new CNC Horizontal Boring Mills, Conventional Mills, Radial Arm Drill, and other equipment.
4 10 hour shifts – 3:30 pm start.
Must have reliable transportation, as transit to this area is limited.
