Overview
Key Responsibilities:
MIG/TIG Welding , General Fabrication.
Set up and operate workshop equipment: Press Brake; Guillotine; Plasma Cutter, Drill and hand tools to bend, cut, punch or otherwise form and assemble metal components.
Study engineering drawings to determine material requirements and task sequences.
Ensure route card times are completed daily.
Ensure that a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to company health, safety and environment policies.
Ensure workshop housekeeping is well maintained.
Organisational Skills:
Able to work to manage a varied workload, be organised and meet deadlines.
