COMBO PRESSURE VESSEL & FABRICATION WELDER Local diesel repair company is looking for an experienced Welder with both Pressure Vessels and Fabrication of heavy machines to join their team. Minimum requirements: • 5 -10 years’ experience in Pressure Vessels • 5-10 years’ experience in Fabrication preferable in heavy machines such as Semi-truck, Oil Field/Drilling equipment, Construction equipment, Trailers etc. or other similar area • Must have own tools including a welding hood • Must Pass 6G/UT and X-ray. There will be two separate tests given for this position one for Fabrication and the other for Pressure Vessels. • Well qualified candidates will be ASME Pressure Vessel qualified Shift: Typical hours are 7a.m. – 4 p.m. M-F with some occasional OT of more than 8 hours on one shift and or Saturday’s. Great benefit package offered after temporary/probationary period. Physical Demands: • Work will be conducted in a shop. • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Able to lift 65 lbs. from floor to shoulder level occasionally. • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 100 lbs. • Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands and fingers. Also crawling and working in narrow spaces. • Requires frequent repetitive movements if elbows, wrists, and shoulders, used in welding. • Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers. • Normal vision with or without corrective lenses. • Exposed to cold, heat, noise mechanical/electrical fume or odor Pay based on experience Pass Physical Pass Drug screen/random drug screens Pass National background check Call or submit your resume with updated contact information so you can be contacted for interview or a zoom interview is available upon request.
