Overview
Currently hiring experienced Structural Combination Welders/Fitters in LaPlace, La.
The rate of pay is $24 per hour. (Looking for local workers who can start immediately)
Schedule: Working 5 10’s Monday-Friday
Duration 8-week or longer project.
Requirements:
- Valid Twic
- Valid Osha
- Must be willing to submit to a Disa drug screen and background check.
- Minimum of four years experience as a Combo Welder/Fitter (SMAW) on structural stainless steel and pipe.
- Able to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques.
- Accurately apply intermediate mathematical skill including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, conversion of fractions and decimals, and geometry.
- Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Inspects completed welds.
- Willing to submit to a weld test. D1.1 Weld Test- SMAW Vertical
