Overview

Coastal Mechanical, one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Southeast, is currently seeking Pipe fitters/welders and also superintendent to work on large commercial projects in the Tampa Florida area. Work is mainly for hospitals, schools, Universities and Government facilities.

Requirements and responsibilities:
3-5 years’ experience in copper and pipe welding

Supervisors 5-8 years & must have supervised others and have OSHA 30 and ICRA

Must be able and willing to assist pipe fitters in preparation of weldments.

Must be knowledgeable of all fitting take outs for screw and weld fittings.

Must be experienced with screw pipe and weld pipe.

Must be able to read blueprints.

Must have ability to install copper piping to reheats and FCUs.

Victaulic experience is preferred.

Sprinkler fitters encouraged to apply.

Salary Range Approximately: $20-$38 per hour depending on experience
