Overview

Legend Mining Inc. is looking for a team player with a proven record of safety and reliability. The successful applicant must be registered with the Ministry of Advanced Education and Training common core program, 770010 Hard Rock preferred but common core program 770225 service type will be considered Must have current WCB ticket for flat and horizontal. Underground mining experience is preferred; training will be available to the successful candidate. Familiarization with the 5-point safety system is an asset. Key job function will include;

  • Advancing and repairing services underground-air, water , and vent pipe
  • Constructing walls and Bulkheads- tying in rebar etc.
  • Assist crews with setting-up mining equipment
  • Assisting mechanical department with welding activities on underground equipment
  • Fabrication when required

Qualifications:

  • Registered in a common core program 770010 preferred but 770225 will be considered for the right candidate.
  • Must have current WCB ticket for flat & horizontal- all positions would be an asset
  • Specialty modules an asset
  • u0024- Utility vehicle

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Must have own hi-vis FR rated coveralls with regulated reflective stripes until registered in coverall program
  • Regular PPE – hard hat with muffs and reflective stripes, steeled toe boots with metatarsal protection
  • Glasses and gloves to be supplied
  • All specialized PPE to be supplied
