Contract Pressure Welder
Combustion Solutions Inc. is a pressure fabricator that makes everything from piping packages to complex hydrogen vessels.
We are located in Squamish, BC considered the recreation capital of Canada, about 45min away from Vancouver and Whistler.
We are looking for experienced journeyman pressure welders capable of radiographic quality welds. The ideal candidate will have worked as a pipe or vessel welder in the oil and gas or related industries and be able to read spool sheets / piping isometrics/ GA’s. We use FCAW, GTAW and SMAW processes for in position and roll welding.
Requirements – one of the following:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Welder Certificate of Qualification issued by the Industry Training Authority of British Columbia; or
- Registered A or B Level Certificate of Qualification for welding (with or without Red Seal) issued by the Industry Training Authority of British Columbia; or
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Welder Certification of Qualification from another jurisdiction – eg B pressure welder from AB.
The candidate will be required to pass our in-house weld procedures. Pipe and vessel fitting experience will also be an asset.
We provide the welding machine and equipment but the contractor is expected to supply basic hand tools.
