Principal Accountabilities

50% Pipe fitting/welding experience

50% Stainless, Layout, Fabrication, and straightening: 1 year

50% Operation of shop equipment, lathe, mill, iron worker, shearer, brake, and hydraulic press

30% Report to the Maintenance Superintendent for all matters relating to the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance of all plant equipment.

30% Plan all maintenance (planned, predictive, and corrective) for plant equipment in the Techs area of cognizance.

30% Interface with the Operations and Maintenance Departments on a regular basis through daily and weekly planning meetings keeping them informed of upcoming maintenance requirements and keeping abreast of planned equipment downtime.

30% Interface with maintenance management personnel and craftspersons on a regular basis to ensure the smooth flow of maintenance tasks and as a prelude to the planning and scheduling of future maintenance tasks

10% Plan all maintenance (planned, predictive, and corrective) for plant equipment in the Techs area of cognizance.

10% Interface with the Operations and Maintenance Departments on a regular basis through daily and weekly planning meetings keeping them informed of upcoming maintenance requirements and keeping abreast of planned equipment downtime.

10% This position requires a working knowledge of basic computer skills.Proficiency in Word processing, Excel spreadsheets and project management software is a plus.

10% This position requires a working knowledge of most aspects of the CMMS system.Training is provided for those areas in the CMMS software where the successful candidate is deficient

Required Qualifications

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Must be 18 years or older

Ability to read, write, and speak English

Ability to work with a variety of hand tools

Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Maintenance experience and electrical maintenance

Previous Cargill experience

Work history in the past 12 months

Basic understanding/use of AutoCAD.
