Overview
Reads blueprints/ drawings
Takes/ reads measurements
Operates machinery such as grinders, band saws, etc.
Loads metals parts/ tubing into fixtures
Aligns parts using calipers, rulers, clamps, etc.
Ensures proper fitment of parts
Tack welds parts together
MIG & TIG welds parts
Assembles all shaped ports
Assembles more complicated parts such as stepped headers/ tube forming
Assembles critical fit parts
Capable of welding all specialty and custom build welding projects
Oversee set up of TIG welding equipment
Other duties as assigned.
. Requirements:
5-7+ years on the job (MIG & TIG) welding experience
Must possess excellent stainless steel MIG & TIG welding experience
Must have excellent math skills
Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must possess a high-level attention to detail
Must be willing to train when needed and be a team player
Experience using saws, welder machines, tools, etc.
Knowledge of PPE (face shields, welder helmets, gloves, steel toes, curtains, etc)
Must have a commitment to excellent quality standards.
Must have a commitment to Safety.
Must be able to read and speak English fluently.
Must possess a helpful, friendly & positive attitude.
High School diploma/ GED required
Experience welding stainless steel a plus
Welding Certification Program (AWS) a plus
Other Details:
Periodic lifting (up to 50lbs.)
Sustained periods of standing
