Job Description:
We are currently looking for CWB Welders to work on a rotation. You will work as part of a team but would routinely perform work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy and safety, while performing your duties. Work will consist of maintenance on conveyors and heavy equipment both indoors and outdoors. As an FCAW Welder you will be responsible for being proficient in the FCAW process to weld various components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Requirements:
CWB Welder FCAW All Position
Experience in OSB mills and wood forest products will be considered an asset.
Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment.
Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
The following training certifications are considered an asset:
Fall Protection (Working at Heights)
Fit Test – Half Mask
Operators Tickets (Manlift, etc.)
CWB Welding tickets
WHMIS2015
