Here at GCM we do yard maintenance and snow removal.

One of our main focuses is our people. we’re a small team, so we take the time to take honest interest in our employees. We will be asking what your dreams and aspirations are, and we will do our best to help you grow towards them. we don’t mind spending time and money on people who need to develop skills that are not naturally inclined to them. we don’t need you to be the best you coming in but we want/hope you’re the best you, you want to be when (if) you leave.

The physical job includes:

  • Cutting grass to the specified standards of each customer
  • Using the following equipment (Ride on mowers, Walk behinds, Push mowers, Whipper snippers)
  • Keeping an eye out for any damages, wares, replacements and general upkeep of peoples property. We are their eyes on the ground and want each place to be in it’s best condition.
  • Working until the scheduled day is completed, Sometimes it’s shorter sometimes it’s longer depending on the weather. We are aiming for 4, 10hour days from Monday to Thursday in the Summer. The Winter is when it snows.
  • There are one-off jobs available at an increased hourly rate, that varies job to job.
  • Going out in normal and harsh conditions to remove snow promptly for commercial, residential and elderly communities.
  • Ensuring sidewalk traction safety

Preferred skills/experience:

  • lawn equipment/small engine (mowers, trimmer,

aerator, de-thatcher, hand tools, etc.) * simple computer skills (Google services (Drive, Sheets, etc.))

  • valid drivers license/clean abstract
  • truck and trailer operation
  • safety courses

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $20.00 per hour
