Overview
Candidate Responsibilities will include:
- Clean equipment and inspect
- Manufacture and plant steel fabrication
- Pipe installations and welding as per Pressure Equipment Regulations (PER)
- Filter side wall manufacture and install
- Screw Conveyor installation
- General workshop fabrication
Candidate Minimum Requirements:
Completed a 3 year apprenticeship
Trade Test Qualified (non-negotiable)
3 years experience post trade test qualification
Medically fit for heights and confined spaces
Experience working on fine and detailed welding in a high risk environment
Willing to work in a petrochemical and gas environment
Drivers licence and own transport
MS Package computer skills and SAP is advantage
The environment is hazardous
You will be required to weld pumps and pipes that are leaking in a chemical
environment
It is beneficial if you have experience with pressure vessel equipment and
pressure equipment regulations (PER)
Preference will be given to EE candidates
