Overview

Duties & Responsibilities – [Shiftwork]

  • read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
  • program and operate CNC turret punches and brake presses
  • set up and operate plate rolls, shear, drill press, saws, hand tools, and measuring tools
  • work closely with engineering, design, and production staff to ensure projects stay within schedule
  • assist with additional production related tasks such as product assembly, and component preparation

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working experience in metal fabrication
  • completion of college, vocation, or technical training
  • or combination of relevant education and experience

Skills & Experience

  • experience with sheet metal fabrication
  • experience with programming and operating CNC punch and brake presses; Ermaksan Speed-Bend, Amada EMK, Coma, Pega
  • wide-ranging knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes
  • must be highly organized and team oriented
  • ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines
  • ability to weld would be an asset, however not mandatory
