Overview
The Role
Working as a mobile engineer as an individual and as part of a team: responsible for the installation, service, maintenance of works on customer sites across the country.
Attending emergency call outs to carry out repairs to a variety of door types: Industrial doors and equipment, high speed doors, sectional overhead doors & roller shutters.
Fault finding and diagnosis along with advising customers of potential faults and how these can be rectified.
This will be based on Working a standard 40 hour per week and overtime as part of the company’s call out rota system.
Requirements
Excellent Customer Service skills, Self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work alone and also as a team.
Clear communication both verbally and in writing is an essential part of this role.
Completion of manual job sheets.
Organised yet flexible with an ability to adapt to changes in workload.
Capable of manual work, lifting and use of mechanical aids.
An experienced engineer with proven background in the repair and maintenance of the following products:
All types of Manual and Electronic Industrial Doors
High speed and Sectional Overhead doors (Manual & Electronic)
Required experience:
Industrial Engineering: 2 years
Industrial Door Installation & Maintenance: 2 Years
Preferred licences or certifications:
Driving License
IPAF Certificate
PASMA Certificate
NVQ 2 – Door & Gate Systems – Installation & Maintenance
Level 2 Award in Industrial & Garage Door Safety
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
Mig & Tig Welding Experience
Forklift Licence

TBC (will be dependent on experience)
