Overview
Duties & Responsibilities – [Afternoon Shift]
- read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- program and operate CNC turret punches and brake presses
- set up and operate plate rolls, shear, drill press, saws, hand tools, and measuring tools
- work closely with engineering, design, and production staff to ensure projects stay within schedule
- assist with additional production related tasks such as product assembly, and component preparation
Qualifications
- 3+ years working experience in metal fabrication
- completion of college, vocation, or technical training
- or combination of relevant education and experience
Skills & Experience
- experience with sheet metal fabrication
- experience with programming and operating CNC punch and brake presses; Amada EMK, Coma, Pega
- wide-ranging knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes
- must be highly organized and team oriented
- ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines
- ability to weld would be an asset, however not mandatory
