Overview
Semi-trailer dealer taking applications for an experienced welder/semi-trailer mechanic. We are looking for someone with experience who is able to train others, someone who can think ahead, someone who wants a career not just a job. All work is done on-site, no travel required.
Pay increase after 45 days and again at 90 days.
Must have 5 years of verifiable work experience on semi-trailers and an expert on trailer mechanics including air brake systems, suspension, wiring, alignments, hydraulics, fabrication, etc. After 90 days if you wish you may take the DOT inspector exam, upon passing you will receive a $1.50 per hour raise.
Applicant must be able to work in a shop environment 50 hours one week and 60 hours the next week.
Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-7pm and every other Saturday 9am -7pm (non-negotiable).
Applicant must be able to pass a drug test, a welding test, a semi-trailer repair test and a background check.
Applicant must have a vehicle that is reliable and is at the work location during working hours.
