Experienced Shop Welder

Lake LBJ Dock Service is celebrating 22 years of being the choice boat lift business in Central Texas! Our family owned & operated marine construction company is looking to expand our crew! While our focus is primarily boat lifts, we are rapidly expanding to meet ALL needs of our lakefront clients. We are looking for an experienced welder that can weld both aluminum & steel. Encouraged skills:
Power tool knowledge

Following instruction/drawings

Ability to lift at least 75 lbs

Aluminum welding

Steel welding

Working efficiently & effectively

Carpentry

Day to day responsibilities include:
Welding platforms & dock sections

Fabricating parts for boat lifts & docks

Welding boat lifts

Decking installation (in shop)

Operating skid-steer, forklift & other machinery

In this position, you will be in regular contact with primarily the owners, managers & dock crew

Previous experience with a dock construction preferred, but will train for this position, as long as you have welding experience

Pay will depend on skill level and experience

Great opportunities for promotion
